Privacy Policy

The short version: IASPatrika has no accounts, no sign-ups, and no advertising. We do not ask you for your name, email, or any personal detail, and we run no analytics or trackers of our own. There is nothing to sell and nothing to leak.
What stays on your device
Your reading preferences, such as whether you use Feed or Scroll and which edition you last opened, are saved in your browser's local storage. That information never leaves your device and we never see it. If you install IASPatrika as an app, a service worker caches the pages so it works offline; that cache also lives only on your device. You can clear both at any time from your browser settings.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may record standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) when your device requests a page. That processing is GitHub's, not ours, and is covered by the GitHub Privacy Statement. We do not receive, store, or have access to those logs.
Content loaded from publishers
Each brief may show a thumbnail and a link that point to the original publisher. When your browser loads one of those images, or when you click through to read a full story, your device connects directly to the publisher's servers, which see that request as they would any website visit. Those interactions are governed by the publishers' own privacy policies. The fonts and code IASPatrika needs are served from the site itself, so simply reading the briefing does not call out to third-party trackers.
General audience
IASPatrika is a public study aid intended for a general audience. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date above shows the most recent version.
